About
Delighted Coaching was founded by Dr. Lauren Patterson in 2015 through a series of essay questions during her student tenure under the Summit Bible College Masters program for Christian Counseling. The process required critical thinking and practical application. In 2015, after completion of the vision, Delighted Coaching was opened as a Sole Proprietorship.
Dr. Patterson continued to work full-time, raise a family, continue her degrees for a double doctorate and run a business part-time. The heart of the company is inspired by her desire to help people form visions for their own lives, businesses, and/or non-profits and help those individuals to set strategies and develop the right teams to execute those strategies.
In 2016, Dr. Lauren Patterson left her full-time position with a local farming company and took the leap to run Delighted Coaching full-time. In 2017 Eric A. Merz joined Delighted Coaching as a Co-owner and Strategic Partner and aided in the transition of the company from Sole Proprietorship to a Corporation. Together they own and operate the company out of Bakersfield, California with plans to expand across the nation and globally.
In 2018, Delighted Coaching began to recruit and add to the team. We have developed and grown into a team of experts who collectively work to bring about change in our marketplace, education system, and local communities. Meet the team
